It runs faster and with less pulling force than its larger 501 siblings, suited for equipment that needs steady clockwise rotation at moderate torque output. On a 4-bolt mount with a 14-tooth spline shaft, it drives fixed implement equipment — feed systems, conveyor drives, and processing machinery where clockwise shaft rotation is a system requirement and the splined connection keeps torque transfer consistent under variable loading.
